Feedback  Our foster dog Lexi loves her visits to Best Friends Pet Lodge. So much so that, even though we live about 45 minutes away, we will happily go the extra mile (literally) to take her there when we go away. Lexi knows when I ask her "do you want to go on an adventure?" it means she is getting a little mini-break all for herself and her tail does not stop wagging. She loves the friendly and helpful staff who all know her so well and treat her like the princess she is. I love the fact that I get sent daily picture updates so I can truly relax knowing Lexi is safe and happy. There is nothing like the peace of mind that comes from knowing your doggo is being looked after and it makes going on holiday and an absolute pleasure. Thank you Best Friends Pet Lodge.

Feedback   I have peace of mind about my dog, a Rottweiler with severe kennel stress from having been in rescue kennels for a long time when leaving him at Best Friends Pet Lodge. He has his own little house with everything he needs - and his own little "yard" too where he can play ball and run around all day long. The accommodation is kept clean and neat, and the dogs' individual needs are taken into account. Tersha knows how to work with dogs and has never forced her attention on my dog (he's very selective when it comes to allowing people to touch him). She spent time with him every time that he visited them, played ball with him, and eventually during the last visit he signaled her that he was ready to take the relationship further. She's now allowed to touch him! I love the fact that I get a photo of my dog every morning and it makes me happy to see him happy and lively (as opposed to depressed and insecure) every time I fetch him.

Feedback  Five years ago I made the decision to adopt two furbabies from Dogtown SA. A concern of mine, however, was where they would stay when I was away. It was around this time that I became aware of the Best Friends Pet Lodge in Hennops. I did a solo visit and was convinced that this was the perfect holiday destination for my boys. They have their own garden, spacious cabana, splash pool, Ttouch sessions, mountain walks as well as the opportunity to explore off-lead in a private, fully fenced play area. The fact that the lodge is run by trained behaviorists is a major bonus for me. The clincher though is the love that my boys receive whenever they visit. It is unbeatable! There is nowhere else that they will ever stay besides Best Friends Pet Lodge! Highly recommended!
