Description  Was given two full sheets to design 3 small office table & payment - he took sheets to his workshop and bring back great disaster table which could not stand to date never came back to fix - very arrogant man.

Feedback  Ditch us with tables that are not up to any standard, promised to fix, block us and make all crooked ways not to come back - Such a loss and waste of time.

Door Specialist

Description  Installed 1 front door and 1 bathroom door.

Feedback  He wanted me to write a good review but I could not. He took 4 days of our time to install 1 front door and 1 bathroom door. He also is one of the rudest people to his customers that you will meet. Really disappointed in what seemed in the beginning was going to be a good experience, but turned out to be really stressful and unpleasant. We trusted him before hiring him because he answered our questions in the beginning and made big promises, we also perceived his service to be of higher quality because he asked the highest prices of all the quotes we got and when I asked why told me he is a "professional at what he does" and "would not take us for a ride" and to "check his reviews on the app" - only to find out he gives a SHOCKING customer service and is an EXTREMELY rude man. His workmanship on the doors were of a reasonable level but was dulled down by his extremely rude attitude, shocking customer service, poor service delivery time, and constant surprise costs and attempts to upsell along the way. ***DETAILS:*** *FRONT DOOR: no complaints, it was the only thing we felt happy with after he was done, and was the ONLY part of our experience that was not stressful and unpleasant. *RUSTED DOOR FRAME: He left the rusted part of our front door frame as is, which scratched our new front door when closing it, and told me to "just kick it" to move it away from the door every time before closing it (my fiancé had to fix this for us himself). *BATHROOM DOOR: He cut the door skew, resulting in it not closing fully and a missing kick plate he did not install into our door frame. He also stripped a screw on the door handle which was put on skew, preventing us from moving it straight. The door was also full of brown marks and the white paint removed from it in, and chipped in some places after he cut it at his workshop. He then tried to charge us R300 to paint the bathroom door he ruined, and when I refused attempted to sell me the paint can for R150. *KICK PLATES: He took the kick plates we got with our door handles for himself without telling me, when I asked why just told me to buy new ones while giving me the impression our door handles did not come with kick plates - and when confronted with pictures that the door handles came with kick plates he told me they were too small for our door frame and argued aggressively with us over the phone. *WORK TIME: Took 4 days to put up 2 doors. Arrived Friday 10AM, did not come prepared to put our doors up, removed our front door and removed our bathroom door and nailed one of our bed sheets up (to use as our bathroom door for 3 days), put our front door back then left. Sunday he picked up our doors to cut at his workshop. Monday he cut the doors at his workshop and came by at 11AM and finally put the doors up. *PAYMENT: He said I should pay him cash because "it's a small job" and didn't provide me with a receipt of full payment at the end (so he could claim a customer didn't pay him in full if he wanted to), we paid him R800 Friday when he left after just removing our doors and putting nothing up, only gave me a receipt for this Saturday, then Monday we paid him R920 and he never gave us any receipt for full payment. *ATTITUDE: Extremely rude man to customers and his workers - He left on Friday while installing our doors to buy things which we had to pay extra for to complete his work, and after I questioned why he took OVER AN HOUR to return to finish fitting our doors he shouted angrily at me that he's "doing me a favor" (and I just quietly had to say "ok"). I was also told Sunday he is "taking time out if his family time" in order to "help me out" when he picked up our doors to take to his workshop (after he came unprepared Friday to install the doors and left the doors behind, telling us he "just can't" take them that same day). He also speaks very rudely and down to the people that work for him. *PROFESSIONALISM/ETHICS: He attempted to get me to review him on Kandua with his own phone while him and his workers were busy, which I refused and told him I will do later in my own time.

Feedback  What I liked about Deena is he renovated my kitchen exactly the way I told him to. The father and son team are hard workers and loyal to their clients!

Carpenter

Description  Deena modified my dining room table by shortening its length. It was important to accomplish this task without losing its aesthetics.

Feedback  Deena's workmanship is excellent. Apart from the length being shorter it looks so good one could never tell that it was modified. He communicated well through out and was very reliable.

Description  He did Shopfitting installation.

Feedback  He did what he was asked to do. His work was very neat, tidy and the finish was awesome. He was very efficient and delivered as expected. His workmanship was good.

Description  He made kitchen and shop cupboards for me.

Feedback  Deena did an awesome job and I was very happy. I have worked with him for a number of years now. He is a reliable person and his services are excellent. He did not need to be followed around because he knows his job. I recommend him to others who need his services.
