Feedback  I hired Fanie to build a boundary wall, he managed to do two walls because l currently don't have enough money to finish the project. His work is very neat, he was quick and professional, l got him from the internet and l will call him soon to finish off, l can also refer him to others who require his service because he knows his work.

Description  Ripped me off!!! Becareful the previous reviews are misleading! He quoted me for a retainer wall and a 1.5m concrete slab, advised the depth of the concrete would be 200 - 300mm, his team did this but then filled up under the concrete with grass and sand, advised him of this and he told me they have dug properly, funny thing is he was not here and nobody in his team spoke English! Then the 1.5m that I paid for was then reduced to just short of a metre, I then asked for the back area of the house to be the 1.5m and it was done with such anger and the extra piece was never cleared, they just poured the cement over and covered it when I tried to raise it it fell on deaf ears as nobody took me serious. The concrete was then further damaged by his window team, whom he promised would do a neat and tidy job, YA RIGHT! They destroyed the concrete slab, burnt my curtains and incompletely installed the windows, I'm still waiting for then rubbers to insulate the windows and make them air tight, still have heard or received this, not answering calls and just says "yes" to messages! The "clean up" team basically took all the grass and sand and packed it up against the slab and that was to cover up the poor job and not allow me to see the grass growing under the slab, should have known has they refused to clean it after I asked more than 4times and then i was promised in that week that he and his team would come and finish the weekend no show and I cleaned my yard and the street which they decided to mix on all myself, told him I cleaned and that on Monday when he comes to bring a team to repair and fix the concrete slab that had been destroyed, he came with a gardener and had the nerve to tell me " you stole my work". After I showed what he needed to fix he went and got a bag of plaster mix to patch the concrete slab, what a joke as it looks horrible and worst part is he doesn't care as I made the mistake and fully trusted him and then paid him in full! Also built me a gate and cheated me out of material claiming it's his when I know t was mine and they made the gate more than 50cm short and then got upset with me because it was past 5 the evening and I had no front gate, then they quickly fixed but just made the gate look like it's bent( that's cause while the guy was welding he was standing on top of the gate) and promised to do it properly the next day, all they came to do was patch up and make the job look complete, bent gate and promised to spray it but did the worse job ever, painted only the new metal and the old metal from previous gate was just ignored, my own paint was taken and used... The chopped a tree and left it out in the park next my house and never bothered cutting it up and packing it like he promised he would do! I have endles complaints and honestly not really worth it anymore, I needed to mentioned so his next victim is aware! BEWARE HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!! LEROY MERLIN & KANDUA NEEDS TO REMOVE THIS MAN!!! HIS A LIAR AND A CHEAT!!!

Description  He had to install a sink, pep bowl and two taps.

Feedback  He started by banging the sink to make an opening for the taps. The sink come with a gadget that needed to be attached to the drill to make this opening. Once done, the hot and cold water was criss crossed. When I made him aware of this, he simply told me to fix this myself as it is easy. "Just close the water 2minutes you done". I now have to get a plumber to fix this . Don't use this man.

Feedback  Firstly i emailed him and made him aware that i could not be there as i am out of town and he assured me i could trust him and that he would leave the place clean and do a good job. He took longer than he said, left paint on tiles and windows and he did not clean up after himself. He also broke the bathroom mirror and the bathroom light and did not let me know. He sent me photos of only the parts of walls that looked good (not showing the mess on the floors and windows) and i paid him the rest of the money on trust and he broke that trust. He also had to fix the kitchen cupboards so he made them shut and sent me photo's but my rental agent let me know that he couldn't open the doors and once he did they were still broken. When i emailed him asking him to fix what he was supposed to and go clean his mess, he said i should have been there(after he knew my situation as per emails before)and he was not going back to fix anything and i had already paid him in full. He is useless!! He will promise you the world but DO NOT USE him!!!

Feedback  He installed 2 outside taps at our house. The job looked fine at the time but the next day the connections were leaking and marshy puddles developed around the connection area. He then returned to fix the leaking joints after 2 days. One week later the leaks came back at which point he made excuses not to come back and repair his job. We then had to get a second plumber to fix his job and because we used him we had to pay twice. Rather get a professional in and save yourself the hassle.
