Feedback  The assessment relates more to the company he works for than himself as he has really not been supported by his boss after all our queries. Gift worked very hard, but the system does not work. He did return and tried to assist. However, he charged more than ten times the price for certain components (which we ascribed to an honest error). When queried he said this was the costing they ‘‘received from DSTV’. This was tested with DSTV, who refuted the price he quoted. He also advised that his big Boss would ‘personally share their DSTV Accredited Installer number’ - which we have still not received (after some weeks of asking now). It therefore seems that it is the company he works for (GoldTech?) that is tardy - but our concern is the overcharging error and the complete lack of accountability by the company. We are absolutely sure the charging was a genuine error, but remain concerned that his boss has still not provided the info we need that will assist us in getting a system that works and a correction in costing.

Description  Set up 3 decoders to operate at 3 points; recabled where necessary; liaised with DSTV to finalise set-up.

Feedback  Worked independently, but always checked in with me. It was a complex job including also removing old cables from conduits, pulling new cables through, checking all AV lit still worked and was connected correctly, setting up a new use point and commissioning one new Ultra to join the existing PVRs -etc.
