Feedback  He did building, plastering, and painting of my house from scratch. He is very knowledgeable about his works which made him complete the job way before the estimated time. It was a 6 months contract and he finished in 4 months of which he could have finished in 3 months but due to covid he was delayed. What I like is his punctuality and producing the same quality of of work. He is very trustworthy I could send him to go buy and collect the material on my behalf, he is so reliable. Before I leave for work I could give him instructions and he obeyed me never took it negatively. If another opportunity arises I can use him over again. I can recommend him 100%.

Handyman

Description  He was supposed to put Harvey tiles on my lapa

Feedback  Fraudster and thief!! Be warned!! We paid him a deposit of R13 000 on Nov 16. He said the job will take 3 days to complete. He sent 2 guys to put up a plank frame. He then disappeared. We asked our money back and he only replied that he will pay it back. We haven't heard back from him and he ignores calls and messages. To this day we haven't received our money back. When I told him we're going to take action he nonchalant replied back that it's not a problem. He comes across as very friendly, but he took our money with no care in the world. Don't trust this guy!

Paver

Description  fixed my paving and a concrete slab

Feedback  He did do a good job on what was supposed to happen. only thing i can fault him on is poor communication, he left without cleaning the rubble and kept promising to come and remove it but it never happened.

Builder

Description  Johannes was tasked to apply plaster and paint the exterior wall of the house. He also fixed garage door openings that where sagging.

Feedback  Johannes was very punctual every day he worked and made sure the site was clean before he left. He also advised me on a few other details that I had over looked. After taking he's advise the project turned out very good.

Pool Specialist

Pool and Pond Maintenance

Cost  3500 quoted, 1750 paid

Description  Inserted an new return point in the pool, serviced the pump, replaced any faulty pipes on the pump, run the pump and clean the pool.

Feedback  Be warned. Johannes asked for money for parts and I paid half the quoted amount. He dug to the pipes for the pool and inserted the new return. He took the pump for servicing and returned it the next day. No pool cleaning happened, the pipes he installed are leaking underground, the pump pipes are leaking since he came, no new pipes were installed My pool is fully green and the pump is not working. I have to redo the entire job. When we asked him to return to fix this. He acted scandalized and confused and said we must keep the balance of the payment. He refused to furnish his building qualifications.

Description  Plastering and rhinoliting

Feedback  I do interior Decor so I use Johannes whenever I get projects. He helps me with the plastering and installation of rhinolite on the walls. He is reliable, professional, and charges reasonable prices. His work is neat, thorough, and he cleans up after himself. I have used him for a long time and I have never had any problems. His work is neat, and I can recommend him to others.

Feedback  Why is Johannes still on your site despite stealing our money and treathing to kill us, telling my husband to f¥ck his mother's mouth and telling my husband he would pay the money back if my husband hand me over to be his wife. Sending us messages to tell the police he will teach them a lesson if they come for him? Kuanda knows the extent of the situation with Johannes. They have not been of any help except of a phone number, bogus adress and email Johannes doesn't care to adress. According to their site, they have a extensive verification process, including names, id's, fingerprints, business address. But it's a lie. One verication site is Huru and they do "verification "as well. This gave me peace of mind being a women alone at home with strange people entering my house. But it's bogus. So called pro Johannes is a Zimbabwean with no way to be located. In fact, when I told them I have laid a criminal charge of death threats, they contacted him to inform him and ever since no one can find him. I'm stuck with death threats, no job done, minus R13 000 and Kuanda and the "pro" not caring one bit. He threatens us daily he will come to kill us. I have 3 young boys which I need to protect now because some illegal immigrant got granted a passage on a "good" website. Don't use him or this website. They promised me he was removed. Feedback  I subcontract Johannes to do bricklaying from scratch for my clients. He is reliable, he has a hardworking team and comes to work with all the tools and equipment. He does the work thoroughly, he delivers quality work and cleans up after himself. The prices he charges are reasonable, and I have never had any problem with him. I can recommend him to others.
