He comes always for assessment to avoid making mistakes in terms of prices which good and because nobody can give a quote over the phone without seeing the cause of the matter despite the explanation. I recommend his services.

Handyman

Description  He did not come. He was running late. I canceled the job when he revealed the price. See details here below.

Feedback  He refused to give me a quote on the phone, even though i explained in a very detailed way what needed to be done. Hanging 3 blinds removing a curtain rail, filling 4 holes left by the rail and touching up thr ceiling. I was very upfront and said how much i wanted to pay on the basis on someone else's quote. He kept on saying he needed to see. Then today he was running an hour late late. He said he was going to fetch his assistant. I asked him to come on his own. He said he needed the assistant. I repeated how much i was prepared to spend. Turns out he charges R 250 per blind. Which he omitted yestedaay, when i told him the blinds were three (3). I also sent a picture of the blinds. And of the curtain rail. It is obvious to me that he should have said YESTERDAY IN THE PHONE that the job was going to cost a minimum of R 750 excluding touch-ups. He did not. Yet today when he had kept me waiting the whole morning and while he was on his way he revealed that the fixed price for the blinds. I canceled the job. I uded this website because i don't want to be conned.

Feedback  I know David very well, he has done a couple of things for us on our shelter homes. He is quite good at his job, very reliable and dependable. He is a professional and always keeps us on the loop on progress whenever he is doing a job. He also does some work with our architect and he always has good feedback about him.
