Feedback  It's been a wonderful experience working with him witnessing how excellent he is when doing renovations. We have an opening in the garage where we kept our van and when we bought a minibus it could not fit so he had to widen the opening. He provided me with a reasonable quotation for the job. Everything was done within a reasonable period. I recommend his services.

Cost  R25000. 00 for labour ONLY. I purchased all sanitary ware, tiles and consumables.

Description  He removed bath and installed toilet, retailed and completed plumbing for 3 m2 bathroom for disabled client.

Feedback  He agreed that the job would take maximum 7 days in April 2021. I paid for an Airbnb for these 7 days. He started the job on day 4 of 7. I wasted expenses on accommodation. He was working multiple jobs on the side and his labour was spread thin across sites. To this day, the job is not completed. We have been forced to hire another contractor to complete the ceiling, flooring that was not correctly sloped towards shower drain and due to the water not flowing into drain, we now have water damage on laminated floors in passage. We had to pay for the skip to be removed which was included in his quote for removal. We had to re do plumbing due to leaks. We have been told by the new contractor that Shaun workmanship indicates that he has no formal qualifications in this industry and might not be registered. His workmanship is based on pure trial and error over the years. I would not recommend him. He is still not answering calls nor responded to any communication during this time. He left and has still not returned, his tools are still on the premises. Service shocking, quote was shocking but we went with it because of his claims of efficiency.

Description  He put new tarmac over 2 areas in the private roadway of our complex - +/- 3 sq m.

Feedback  He knew exactly what to do and did a good job.

Description  I wanted my backyard paved out but he offered an alternative to accommodate my budget.

Feedback  Shaun Peters, the owner of Shape Maintenance Solutions / Simple Samm Services, responded from your listing as a preferred supplier. I was contacted by him as a recommended supplier from your Kandua website. I've had such a terrible experience with Shaun Peters. He was meant to start work on my property on 21 Feb 2022. He started working on 23 Feb 2022. The presentation of the work he explained to me is not what he has done. He had not completed the job by the 12 April 2022. He left my place in a mess and left all his equipment on my property until he finally came back to try and finish off on the 3rd May 2022.. He also used my things for his job without my permission. He was disrespectful to my time, and to me as a lady. He created the opportunities of endangerment to my life and harassment for me, through the fact that he was seldom on the job and I was forced to act like a foreman on the job with about 3-5 men on my premises.. He handed out my personal contact number to his employees when they approached him for payment, this was to shift the responsibility onto me. I had made an upfront payment of 75% of the quoted cost of the job and only needed to pay him the balance upon completion. His team hardly worked a full day and arrived at whatever time he chose and left whenever he felt they had done enough for the day, or was forced by daylight coming to an end. I was only informed as each day came and went. I am not sure how your selection process works but I would advise you to revisit this process in order to prevent future clients having the same experience as me.

Feedback  Shaun has helped me repaint my lounge and kitchen. The work was done well and I'm happy with it. He did the work within a reasonable period, charged me a reasonable price that suits the services he offered me. I have no complaints with his services and there have never been any redos everything is still eyecatching.

Feedback  I have hired him to help me renovate my two-bedroom apartment. He took out everything and did waterproofing, tiling, bathroom installations, and roofing. He did a very good job. He was friendly, finished the job on time and everything was just professional. There have never been any callbacks. I can recommend his excellent services.
