Description  Teddy completely removed an old delapidated bathroom and meticulously installed very expensive bathroom fixtures and fittings as well as all sanitary equipment professionally and efficiently. From start to finish in a week. I would most definitely recommend Teddy to anybody who intends on renovating their bathroom and he is very reasonably priced, honest and pays attention to detail. I will be using Teddy for my next project.

Cost  I was quoted R7600 for labour, plumbing materials (excluding shower head). We also asked for the cost of building materials needed for tiling and the rest of the shower installation to be included in the quote. We showed him that we will supply the tiles, shower head and shower glass.

Description  Teddy was hired to remove old bathroom wall tiles, re-tile with new tiles and extend bathtub plumbing to add a shower mixer and head.

Feedback  Teddy brought in a crew of tilers who were outstanding. They worked quickly and did a really good job tiling the bathroom walls. Teddy managed the project logistics and did the plumbing of the shower fixture. We experienced a big miscommunication with Teddy regarding what the quote would cover and ended up paying just over R1500 more than originally quoted. We did ask that Teddy supply the required building materials and include it in the quote as we would not know what to buy. I also advised Teddy that the shower glass will only arrive a week after he proposed to start with the project. He said it is no problem he will come back when the glass arrives but would prefer to start the rest of the project earlier. After the tiling and plumbing was completed we told Teddy that we will keep a small portion of the quote until the glass was installed. At this stage he said the R7600 did not include glass installation and that he would need to charge an additional fee if we wanted the glass installed. A few days after they completed we started cleaning up and noticed that the other side of the wall that plumbing was done on had damage to the outer plaster and paint. This damage was in the room adjacent to the bathroom and the damage was only centred around where he dug into the wall to get to the existing plumbing. Our overall experience with Teddy was not great which is unfortunate as he has such good reviews on Kandua. With better communication I think Teddy would do better at his next job.

He showed up at work on time every day. I found him to be highly skilled, well experienced and I cannot fault him for anything. Would be more than happy to recommend him to others.
