Description  Construction Work

Feedback  I used his services for three years, and l was always impressed with his work. Alex was responsible for doing brickwork, plastering, tiling, and roofing. His work was excellent, and he delivered according to the specifications. He is a trustworthy person because l worked with him on big projects, and there were no complaints or comebacks. He is professional, hardworking, and punctual. His workmanship is good, and l can recommend him.

Builder

Description  He had to fix cracks in 3 outer walls of my apartment.

Feedback  He used cement to fix the cracks. Others indicated he should have used polifila. He painted over the wet cement which started to peel. I wanted only the cracks to be fixed but he said it would look better to paint the entire walls. I told him I do not have money for that but he insisted so I accepted. Then he put the price up. After I saw how the cement in the cracks started peeling I was extremely disappointed. Then at the end of that day he wanted me to pay him basically 95% of the fee and he will get the rest when he finishes, as he needed to pay his workers. I told him I normally pay when the work is done, and I am not happy with how he does business. He seems like a nice guy but I feel that he tried his luck with me because I am a woman and obviously did not know about construction. I paid him for his effort but had to ask someone else to re-do fixing the cracks.
