There is damp in my upstairs bathroom due to a leak from the roof. The roof needs to be repaired along with the damp that has risen in the bathroom. There is also mould in the bathroom which needs to be removed.

I recently handed over a property that I rented. A few years ago, we installed a fireplace in the living are with the owners' approval, which, according to them, has caused water damage in the roof/on the ceiling and on the wall behind it as it was apparently never properly water-sealed. I had someone look at it and they said that the damage was actually caused by the roof plates not properly feeding water to the gutter on the outside of the same wall, though the owners insist it is because of the fireplace and wants me to pay for fixing it. I need someone to go and assess the damage and determine where the fault lies once and for all.

I'm not sure about the dimensions. With yesterday's down pour l noticed the the tiles being wet close to my sliding door. I checked and saw no direct water entering. Later l noticed the grooves of my tiles becoming wet and also discovered that my walls were wet too. Wet walls run from my lounge to my bedroom. And the corner of my bedroom wall is also wet coming from the ceiling corner right down. No flooding, just noticeable wet walls and tiles in lounge area.

It’s a garage conversion to a flat. It’s a flat roof. It’s about 14m x 4m in size. We want to rust proof and waterproof.

I heard water dripping on ceiling of main bedroom during rain. Probably a tile or two that needs to be replaced. Wish to check whole roof.
