We needed to replace a gas line with a thicker line, Hilton came to site and we showed him the job that needs to be done, we asked him to please use the same line that was used before. Hilton sent us the quote which we accepted and 80% deposit was paid (R7000). Hilton came to site and we were not happy with the pipe he had bought, so he said he can go back to his suppliers and get the correct line. He sent us pictures of pipes which looked like he was in a hardware store. I sent him the location to a place that sells the gas lines previously used, which he didn't use, so after a week of back and forth we decided that he was not right for the job. We asked if he could return the things he bought and give us the money back, which he then said the place will not give the money back because he took the products out the packaging, which is BS because piping does not come in packaging, SO asked him if we can least get store credit, and that's the last I heard from him, he has been ghosting me for the last 2 weeks.
