Feedback  I feel like such a fool sitting and going through all these comments right now,thinking why didn't I just do this in the first place.I came to this sight after desperately looking for someone to replace my BMW key at an affordable price at the time he called back immediately and said he could do it for 1600 I thought It was a bargain and told him to please come through that was on Friday morning or afternoon can't remember he didn't pitch that day and told he would be here first thing in the Morning and again he disappointed me he only pitched in the evening removed my computer box and ignition and also asked for a deposit i gave himR800 he later called and asked for R500 cash send to make the key as he was working outside of his work hours he also took my car battery to charge it for me i tought he was eldery and being polite and trusted him. He said the job would be done by 7:30 Sunday morning and that's when he started with the very simalar thing that I've just read here , I would like to kindly ask whoever has been scammed here to give me a call on this no. 0847667948 whatsapp 084 039 1508 I'm reporting to the police station but I would like to take this further to the point of this actually being dealt with and for him to pay the price of people's hard earned money so anything anyone can help with e.g photos ,company he works for or number plate my kids took down his for some reason, anything that can help me build a case I can report it to the DEVI show (as we have connections both media aswell as police station I am grateful that I did not allow him to continue to scam me further and yes it's not as bad as what some of you have been through but if we work together we can bring scum like this down and save someone else this horrible situation in the future.

Feedback  Please stay away from Gerhard van Niekerk - he is a FRAUDSTER! He collected my car from a dealership to fix it after I had a breakdown. After the first payment of R 5 700.00 was done by me he indicated he needed to fix something else and sent me another quote for about R14 000.00 I asked him if the car will then be roadworthy as I want to sell it and he indicated that he wants to buy it from me. This happened during June 2022 - I have now been struggling for weeks to get the payment for the car from him or to return my car and let me pay additional costs incurred by fixing the car. He blocked me on whatsapp and is not taking any of my calls. I have basically now lost this car to him and suspect it has already been sold by him

Feedback  Everyday when I contacted him, he had an excuse. He never intended to do this job. He send 2 other people to do the job and after hours still nothing progress looks like they didn't know how to do it. They told me they will come back the next day. No return. He promise to come and do it himself but I couldnt be taken for a fool any longer. He should be removed from this site with immediate effect. If you look at previous reviews then there is more than one incident where he took money from the client and never completed the job.

Feedback  Terrible service.!! Gerhard van Niekerk promised me my car back everyday for 2 weeks. Now that I finally have it back, it still smokes, the car's power is reduced and it uses twice as much fuel! Every attempt to get Gerhard to rectify these issues proved in vain. Empty promises yet again and now he doesn't even pick up my calls or read my whatsapp messages. I have now had to pay another mechanic to fix what Gerhard messed up.

Automotive Electrician

Description  Gerhard defrauded me.

Feedback  Gerhard was supposed to replace my alternator, which he removed from the car on June 12th with the intention of repairing and reinstalling it the next day. However, I wanted to pay the deposit as soon as possible in order for that to happen, so I paid a little later than intended, accepting that the installation would be one day late. However, they did not arrive until after 18h00pm, and after they finished the assembly, the car was still not fixed, so they requested to take it to the workshop for diagnosis, which we agreed to. On June 18th, they picked up the automobile and drove it to the workshop, where they informed me that the car had a wiring short, so they needed to resleeve the wiring and we needed to pay a deposit for them to proceed. I again proceeded to pay as soon as I could but that was not enough, next was a video message claiming the starter needs to be repaired and again on the 24th of June I paid for a new starter rather as the cost to repair was not much cheaper than buying a new starter. He continued promising delivery from the 24th of June until he blocked both my phones after I paid for the new starter. We decided today to contact the tracker, which had located the car in Centurion since last Thursday, at a car repair shop. When I called one of the owners, he told me that he had changed the alternator and was waiting for the repaired starter. I've concluded that I've been paying these individuals for nothing, that they were simply milking me dry while the car sat in their yard or who knows where. I still don't have a car, and we have to pay people to make sure my wife's business runs smoothly and she doesn't lose customers. I'm convinced we're dealing with a fraudster here, and I would not advise anyone to use their services. I'm going to report it to the police next.
