Feedback  He has a calm and nice personality, he respects and listens to instructions given by the client. His prices are affordable and after comparing him to 3 companies he came out the best. They came early for work ,when done for the day they cleaned up and they can be trusted as well . I would leave them alone working and they would not touch anything apart from what they came for. They put on some extra hours so that they could finish in the shortest time possible. Their finishes were good , material used was of good quality and overall workmanship was satisfactorily. I'm happy and I recommend .

Description  He replaced the old roof with corrugated roof tiles in Johannesburg and also extended a roof to an extended house in limpopo.

Feedback  He is very dedicated and loves what he does . There is not even a day he was late for work even when he had to drive and do work on my roof in limpopo he arrived early . His work is of great quality and he never compromise on that. He is trustworthy and very clear in his dealings . I had received a quotation of R 100 000.00 from another contractor and he charged me less than half of that amount and had no problem finishing the job. What I like most is his communication skills , when you send a message on watsaap or email he would respond within 30 minutes . They are tidy, always clean up after themselves and no need of micromanaging. He has own transport . His workmanship is good, they finish work within agreed time . I recommend.

Description  He tiled my bathroom , replaced the toilet and the basin , installed new pipes , built a vanity counter and a granite top , painted the ceiling and fixed lights .

Feedback  I like the fact that he is pro active and always takes the initiative. He is a good listener , understands the scope of work better and does above what is expected. His team is excellent , skilled and professional. He communicates clearly and if he can not do a certain job he would tell and recommend someone . I trust him to the extent that I would pay him in advance and he would still come and finish the job without any hussle. He is always punctual and his prices are affordable, negotiable and he always does extra work . They clean up after themselves and their workmanship is good. I recommend.

Description  Removal of thatch and installing sheeting

Feedback  We trusted them to do an exceptional job with our roof and especially with the amount of money we paid instead they left the roof incomplete as it had a big opening when we went to assess and had to tell them to seal the gap and they requested more money to seal the gaps which we paid because we couldn’t leave our roof with an open gap. They said they sealed the gap only to find out they did a rushed job and a day or two after they claimed to finish it rained and the amount of water that was inside was insanely too much yet we paid extra for them to seal and only to find out we wasted our money. I have been contacting Gibson to come and fix the leakage on the roof as our furniture is getting damaged with the rain and he still hasn’t pitched up. I wouldn’t recommend this company even to my worst enemy!

Description  Tiling, plumbing, door hanging, carpentty - making of vanity unit in bathroom, paining, installation of light fittings

Feedback  No need to micro manage. Found each team member knew his trade, i.e. from plumbing to electrical, tiling, carpentry. If materials were not on site, Gibson purchased out of his own in order to carry on with work. This team went beyond expectations and I would not hestitate to recommend this company. Extremely honest and hardworking. Even worked beyond normal hours in order to meet deadline set for completion.

Cost  More than 2 million on 5 different builders

Description  They did renovations on our house, things were done over and over. The problem is they had different guys doing different things, each one blames one another for the wrong doings. We had painters there, which painted the walls without plaster primer after being rhinolited, paint pealed off in layers. Windows were put in sqew and not aligned correctly. The roof we thought was done good is no good at all.l, valleys are leaking. During this time they took approximately 3 months to finish a job whereby we were told it would take 6-8 weeks, some workers stole from us,, from Jewellery, money, alcohol, and some things we have not even noticed yet. They messed on our things, things were damaged and broken as well. We spent how much money on these guys, we were told are professional only to find out these things at a later stage. Tiler blames the builder, and visa versa, we helped where we could and honestly disgusted in the service we received from Gibson. Sorry doesn't fix anything!!! We were done in by all 5 different builders we had including Gibson and team. Once we didn't agree on pricing the work slacked and shit was dished up. As much as we were happy at the time, all the comebacks and complaints afterwords explains just how good these guys are. They are no better than the rest of anybody else we ever had or know of. It's sad when people take advantage and shortcuts to suite their pockets, yet they forget 1 complaint is more than enough for nobody not to use them, not from frustration but from the truth. I'm highly disappointed in the shit these guys dished up. When they needed things we jumped, when they asked for things, things were provided for, all these guys want to become rich over night, and as I employed them to take on the work, they are suppose to make the customer/client happy, yet it's easier to put the blame on somebody else. Just a precaution to those out there, rather spend the money on professionals it might cost in the end but assure you won't have shit dished up!!! There is no reson for the shit we thought these guys knew how and what to do, basics can't be done right, and if that can't be done right, don't expect anything to go right. We are the clients or customers and we have the right to voice our opinions as we they one filling up their pockets. My honest opinion I would mark them below average and rate them a 2 out of 10!!!! Highly disgusted in the work received from them, where have spent every last cent we have on them whilst they lol in your face.
