Description  I contacted Hastings to troubleshoot two wall sockets that were not working. In the process he discovered an issue with the earth connection in house and immediate set about reconnecting that line to the mains, The following day he returned to fit an earth connection in the area of the house where it was lacking.

Feedback  In the process he provided me with the information I need to make decisions about the wiring in my home and was able to eventually locate the power cables for the wall sockets that prompted the call out. All-in-all, I appreciated Hastings' advice as well as his patient attessment of the issues. Nevertheless, he did not double check that the solution he created on the first day was actually working before he left and forgot to clean up where he worked (debris that came loose from wall sockets was not wiped/swept up). That said, his prices are reasonable and he has a whole team of tradesmen working with him so solve various maintenance challenges around the home. I'd call him again.
