Totally dissapointed in Claudes workmanship. He started off well and convincingly but this job become too stressful when his attitude changed to confrontational when he faced his first challenge. He doesn't weigh the corners and possible challenges or discuss before he start which resulted in wastage of good tiles which are out of stock . Doesn't do lay out prior to tiling and place owners on us the customers to resolve snags he find himself. Yet, not willing to follow instruction given. This led to misaligned, skew foyer floor tiles on stoep spoiled and water level run in opposite direction.(after clear discussion that no water should stand on stoep)
He waisted my tiles, crack and chipped some that can't be replaced. He left a piece of wall un plastered which I only saw after they left.
In short, I will have to do my foyer over as it is unsightly. This will cost 7 boxes 600mm tiles as well as labour to chop out and tile.
