Feedback  I hired Lusanda and he did some alterations to my house, he extended the bathroom and installed a new bath did the tiling and painted the outside and inside of my house. He did an outstanding job in a short space of time because he worked tirelessly with his team. Everything was done the way l pictured it in my mind and l can not fault him for anything. He would clean his workspace daily so that l will be able to walk around. The guy can be trusted because l could leave him for work and l did not lose anything in my house. His quotes were worth the outcome, he came through my young brother and l can refer him to anyone for renovations.

Description  He renovated my kitchen

Feedback  Lusanda came through the time l wanted to re-design my kitchen, l hired him and he got rid of old cupboards and installed the new ones. He is a great carpenter who is very creative and accurate in his measurements. His work is on point, and he transforms my kitchen into a modern one. I was satisfied with his overall performance and the neatness of his work, l received excellent service for a reasonable quotation.

Description  Installation of cupboards, roofing, waterproofing, and painting

Feedback  I have used Lusanda on several occasions because he is a consistent worker. He came through as a referral and he has done some waterproofing, roofing, and installation of cupboards and painting. He is a reliable service provider who takes his job seriously, he sticks to the agreement and delivers within the timeframe. I can recommend his good service to others, he adds some value to money.

Cost  Deposit of R3 200.

Description  Nothing after a deposit was paid

Feedback  Shocking experience. A quote was received on 1st November 2022 from Lusanda.The quote provided requested a 50% deposit of R3 200 to be made. I enquired with Lusanda about the 50% deposit and was advise that it is for the materials and that the balance of the payment can be made after the work is done. The name of the bank account was not provided on the quote, so I sent a WhatsApp to Lusanda and was advised that it is Tyme Bank. I called Lusanda and advised that the quote stated it is Capitec and that I required the name of the account to make payment. He provided the banking details. Electronic payment of R3 200 was made on the 2nd November 2022 with proof of payment submitted to Lusanda on the same day. On the 3rd November 2022, Lusanda send a WhatsApp advising that he has not received the money in his bank account. Friday I received a message regarding the deposit being received and that the it is raining and that the materials for the job could not be delivered due to the rain. I replied that the materials can be delivered once the rain stops and please for Lusanda to let me know when he is coming. I did not hear from Lusanda for the rest of Friday, even though the rain stopped in the afternoon. I messaged Lusanda on Saturday morning around 9am regarding the job and he replied that he is KZN at a funeral. I said I am sorry about the funeral and that he must please refund the deposit I paid. A number of messages were sent to Lusanda on Saturday, Sunday and again on Monday for the refund of the money. It is almost a week later and II still do not have my money and no work has been done. This is not the service I am used to from various contractors that I have previously used from Kandua. Complaint raised with Kandua and they advised that they will assist to engage Lusanda to get my money back. I await their feedback on resolution.
