Feedback  Marco quoted on the construction of my boundary fence and gate installation. Work started in January and now in November not done yet. Makes numerous false promises on starting and when will complete.

Feedback  He measured up my entertainment area for a tip up garage door. I had a profesional in there after and we determined that Marco scammed me. There was not enough space for a tip up garage door. Marco knew this. He did not advise me. He took advantage of me. I'm a pensioner.

Feedback  I've dealt with Marco Snell for the past decade. Then he scammed me in November 2021. He lied under oath in the Small Claims court. 45 minutes R1500 labour. His son and brother in law who appeared intoxicated. Marco Snell did not service the garage door he was paid to do, requesting immediate payments at a further cost. His MO is to do incomplete work, and charge another call out fee on the same job. He owes me money. He is not to be trusted. He is unethical with poor quality goods and services.

Feedback  Marco Snell doesn't pay his debt! Bought a gate & garage motor from our company June 2020, (regular customer) There was a card problem so promised to pay EFT. Never did. Numerously lied and said he did, made false promises, now we are opening a case of Fraud & Theft. Just google him & his company to see what you are dealing with. Somewhere out there are customers with driveway motors with NO guarantee due to his dishonesty.

Description  Marco had to put up 2 swing gates for the drive in. Also a fixed panel and a front gate to the entrance of our property.

Feedback  I needed the gates urgently because gangsters came to ring our door bell and demand money from us for almost a week every night from 21h00. Marco promised to do the job as soon as possible. When i phoned or whatsapp him he would give a date that he would come to do the work. He would then change the date and give some excuse. He said the gates had to be galvanized and he was waiting on the finishing of the galvanizing.. Eventually marco came with his workers. They brought the gates. The fixed panel was put together that morning on my property. Marco went to buy the steel and bars. They then coated the gates with anti-rust paint. The frames of the gates and fixed panel and the bars was very thin.. It became clear to me that the gates was not galvanized at all. I stay in elsies river. It is a crime ridden place with lots of criminals and drug addicts. The flimsy gates is not strong enough. It can easily be broken. The gates is not firm in the ground. It feels very loose. Also the bolts of the fixed frame drilled into the brick pillar is very loose. I had to get someone to secure the bolts and gates more firmly. I am not working. I lost my job a year ago. My family promised to help me with the cost of the gates. My brother who is a builder said the gates with labour costs about R4500. I was charged R11710. Now my family dont want to help me with the costs of the gates. They first want a report detailing the cost of the steel and the labour with invoices and receipts. I asked marco over a month ago for this report. Until now i have not received any job report. I am a pastor in the church. I am looking after my dad of 90 years who is also a pastor for 70 years. We also wanted solid gates with thick bars for my dads safety. I was overcharged more than twice the price of the job. The job was not done according to specifications and requirements. My sister is so embarrassed because she recommend marco. I now have financial challenges because I paid marco almost R12000 for a job that is only worth R4500. Marco also promised a discount but at the end took all the money. I would have recommended him to more than 5000 pastors that I have contact with but he did not deliver on his promises. He lied about the galvanizing and also overcharged me by more than R7000. I also found out by my friend who lives in hermanus cape town that marco also took money by him for automated garage doors but never did the job. God will be the judge at the end. Let us love people and use money. Not love money and use people.

Description  He fixed a building job gone wrong from a previous builder installed the garage door that was messed up by previous builder work well enough done but had to replace the lock on garage door was paid for it but never pitch on promised days to replace the lock I must always ask when he is coming then on these days not pitching when ask he always set another date. Was paid already for the garage locks he promised to install locks to lock door from inside and outside. Still waiting .

Feedback  He needs to explain beforehand if not able to come on days he promise and to come with his tools and complete the job as promised I don't want to be calling to set dates and then he is not coming to complete the job.

Awaiting now for the small claims court to open to recoup the rest. I pitty the man. Dishonest and not trustworthy. What you sow you will reap, even on your children

Description  Took a 70% deposit and squared off 2 walls. No garage doors were supplied after more than 8 weeks, with many false promises and delays. The contract has now been cancelled and we are waiting to get our money back.

Feedback  This was a disaster experience!!! Marco Snell from Speedy Garage Services is NOT a company I would even think about calling, unless you want to throw away your time and money. I took a chance on him and he promised me he would look after us and get the job done, but rather dragged things out and ultimately never supplied the service he was paid for. I have wasted 10's of hours talking to him and trying to get the job done, all for nothing. This man should not be allowed to sell his services and I will be taking legal action against him if he does refund us in full.
