Description  I just moved from another place to a brand new complex and I couldn’t reached the technician in charge of dstv installation in the complex. Because I wanted to be quickly connected I searched for another one through Kandua platform. So I hired Ryan /Prince matanhire. This technician came and he told me that I had to pay more than the call out fee of R350 because he needed to install another switch for me to be able to watch Dstv so the bill was: -12 mèters of cable R260 -1 switch R800 -1 new power supply for the decoder R640 -R30 for 3 connectors -call fee labor for more than 1:00 R 370 Total: R2100 The day after Ryan write to me via whatshapp asking for more money before he send me my bill!!!! He made the installation and I could see some channels but not all of my Dstv premium channels. I asked him why and he told me that there was no problem and that after the updating which he had programed for 4:00 am, I will be able to enjoy all of my channels. So my husband wired the payment to his boss Ryan. The following day I switched on my tv and there a message saying that I needed to reformat my decoder and I couldn’t do it so I called Dstv for help and they asked me to bring to their office my decoder which I did and they gave me a new one. I only had to come back home and plug it on and everything was supposed to work but nothing. I called back Dstv and after working with me to see where the problem was the technician told me that the problem was my installation so I called back Prince. He came and couldn’t do anything so he started telling stories which evidently was lies and he asked for me to call the people from the complex for according to him there were something wrong about the installation. I asked him to at least put back things has they were before he came that so that at least I can have the few channels I was able to and the answer was no he couldn’t do that. Very strange because I paid R2100 for nothing? I asked him to go up and take a picture of the installation and he told me that he had removed the switch he installed the previous day. I asked why and he couldn’t tell me why so I asked him to show me the switch he removed. At first he refused and finally he gave it to me: I am attaching the photo of that switch. He became suddenly very aggressive and I just told him to go. I tried to call Ryan and he never answered so I send him a message explaining what happened and he asked me to call the people from the complex and he will send a technician to explain to them what was the problem. I replied telling him that those people should come the day after and I will tell him the exact time. So the technician came today, the one who did all the installations in the complex and he told me that they were anything more to do but only plug on my decoder and that was it. He told me that I have been robbed!!!!
