Feedback  Firstly, it is worth noting that the rest of the reviews on Kandua have been conveniently left by people they know, all on the same date, 27th March. The project started off good, however, the trust relationship with this contractor has completely broken down beyond repair after they failed to return to complete the work despite receiving full payment. They demanded additional funds, even for work that was listed as "free" or "included in labor" on their original quotations. Despite owing us R9500, plus the costs for additional damages, they still expected more money, claiming they had run out of funds. We were even told that they had used our money on another project and, in turn, were using funds from that project to try to complete ours. The project was plagued by an inconsistent work schedule, with no clear or reliable timelines, causing further delays and uncertainty. Eventually, we had to ask them to leave as they were unable to complete the project, leaving us with additional expenses for labor and materials that we had already paid for. Communication throughout the project was inadequate, often rude, and highly unprofessional. We have numerous WhatsApp messages and voice notes where we, as clients, were mistreated. Financial instability was another major concern, as the contractor repeatedly informed us that they did not have money and had invested in their church, which raised doubts about their ability to finish the project. Additionally, we encountered shouting and unprofessional behavior during conversations, which is unacceptable in any business relationship. On top of this, we were forced to cover unexpected expenses, such as rubble removal, which we did not approve. The work left unfinished also added to our burdens, as several areas of the project remain incomplete. Our toilets are not properly installed, with leaks all over the place, and our basins lack pipes. The bathroom doors, which we paid for, were not put up, and they even took our faucet for the admin bathroom with them when they left. There are also numerous exterior building elements that were left incomplete, which further contributes to the overall dissatisfaction with the work done. This entire ordeal has caused us both mental and financial strain that is no longer sustainable for our business.
