He charged me R1680 to check why my stove was tripping the electricity, he confirmed that the switch in the wall had water so he replaced that switch. Nothing was wrong with the stove or oven so he charged me that amount just to change a switch. I them said with that amount can he atleast check why my lights shock me, only to find out that there was a lose wire. I believe he took advantage cause i am female and needed this fixed urgently. My electrician lives far away so I couldn't fetch him that day and he did confirm that this money is way too much. I will never hire Mashole again unless I'm a millionaire.

Feedback  Mashole fixed my geyser and oven. It took him a few hours to complete the work. I was happy with the work he did. However Mashole gave me an invoice with the agreed amount and showing that he was charging for the geyser and oven. After he was done with the job he later called me and started saying that he forgot to put the price for the geyser and he wanted an extra R 700 and l told him thats nonsense. He takes chances on people. Just because he told me that he bought an expensive switch for the oven and l gave him an extra R 150 he thought that he could get more money from me. I wasn't happy with this. I don't trust him and l will never hire him again.

He also spends time making sure that everything is 100% before leaving. I will definitely use him again.

Feedback  Out of the service providers I had requested for a quotation, he was the only one who provided it almost immediately and upon checking what he was going to do, he explained to me without hesitation. I then called him just after 16:00 and he told me that it would take about 3 hours to do the job and he was willing to do immediately. By the time I got home he had started with the work and was willing to address some of the challenges we had in order to assist. He went on to do the tests and explained to me how the system works and gave an assurance that I should get in touch with should I experience any issues. It is very difficult to get a person with that patience these days regardless of how much you are paying them. Well done, Chief. SA needs people like you.
