Description  Serviced 5doors and 5 draws they damage, scratch one of the draws.

Feedback  They start the job without waiting to find out if you happy with the quote. They take short cuts. 4200 Rand all they did is tighten a couple of screws and glue 2 draws. Also managed to scratch one of the draws and denied doin it. The kitchen is brand new, we just needed to adjust 2 draws runners, I called them for 2 draws, unfortunately I was away and they took advantage of my young daughter instead of communicating with me, they see the Bishopscourt sign and they think they can overcharge, we working people not millionaires, they decided what to do, and expanded the job. I would not recommend them. Exorbitantly expensive. Stay away.

Description  My apartment was in need of touching up in many areas. Morgy and his team touched up the walls and ceiling in the lounge, bathroom, kitchen ceiling where paint had started to come off and moulds were beginning to set in. They fixed broken curtain blind rods, repaired my coffee table (now looks like new!), replaced light bulbs and even fixed my internet connections which had gone down.

Description  Replaced a shattered window in an awkward spot with efficiency and a smile.

Feedback  The window was on the first floor, and the bars on th3 inside prevented installation from inside the house. The team quickly found a way to scale the outside and installed the window after measuring and neatly cutting the required size. The inside was a bit messy from old plaster/putty, but it was a huge help that they could fix the window on such short notice over the holidays.

Then they went AWOL when I asked remaining work to be completed under contract because of major quality issues, and numerous cost changes coupled with demands for more money (I.e. baiting with low pricing and switching prices multiple times which for some reason he failed to grasp how that is universally accepted as shady business practice) . As of writing this review, Morgain refuses to answer calls even after I provided several opportunities for remediation and I’m now forced to recover losses through legal proceedings topped off with about R1500 lost daily in rental income losses due to the delays working with this Morgain has caused. So much for “vetted pros”.

Description  Extended the existing pergola on our house by a a further 2 meters. Fitted new roof supports and renewed guttering. Rerouted drainage. Redecorated whole and fitted down lights.

Feedback  Morgy s team worked well throughout. There were some difficulties but these were overcome. The completed job is very good and adds a very useful space to our home.The cleanup and carrying away of rubbish was good. All the workers were amiable and were a pleasure to work with.

Description  He hung an external door, and fixed and bolted the door frame to the wall.

Feedback  He was very proactive, assisting me in choosing the door, transporting it to the house and installing at an agreed date. The fit of the door was a bit of a problem as we discovered that the door frame was loose and needed to be secured to the wall. Morgy was happy to help until I was satisfied with the end result. Because of this extra work, the project cost more than I'd planned for, but this was not Morgy's fault

Cost  He charged us R4500 plus call out of R250. We were happy to pay for the call out but we were horrified at the invoice. We ended up paying him R1300 total after negotiations.

Description  He checked a fault and fixed it. He was at my house for 2 hours total

Feedback  Not sure how he conducts business but he didn't give us a quote before he started working. We thought he would check the fault then tell us what needed to be done and then we could decide from there, but he just fixed it and sent us a enormous bill for work we weren't sure he even did. We then called another electrician to asked if it was fair to ask for R4500 for the kind of job that needed to be done especially seeing as no extra parts were used and he told us that we had be massively over charged. Yes the fault was fixed and we managed to negotiate the bill done to a more reasonable price but the entire experience left a very bitter taste and we will no longer use the kandua website again.

Throughout the process I was kept closely informed of progress and was impressed by Morgy's politeness and attention to detail. Description  Morgy replaced all the window friction stairs/brackets which were very stiff or broken to enable easy opening of windows.. He also replaced two locks of doors which were jammed as well as replacing large panes of glass which were broken.
