Bongani

Cost  R75000 DEPOSIT

Description  He removed previous wooden cladding from the wall, damaged the wall so badly making our front main entrance looking absolutely untidy.

Feedback  Do not use Bongani for any work, he is dishonest, workmanship is terrible. Do not pay him any deposit before the job is completed. We paid him a deposit of R7500 on the 22 August 2024 with immediate pmt clearance which he kept reminding and requesting deposit pmt saying he needs to order the cladding on the 23 Aug to start work on the 24 Aug, he came on site on the 24 Aug informing us there was a delay with the material and Mon he will receive the material, he got his guy to remove all previous cladding from the wall damaging the wall so badly and left that Sat with the wall looking like a circus. He said he would return on Mon to start the cladding, but Sun late evening msg us to say unfortunately he wont make it he is at the hospital he will try to come on Mon, Tues he msg to ask if the company delivered the material, I said No and he said to us the supplier is messing him around and he will go to the supplier to fetch the material. The Wed he supposed to be on site he then msg to say his van broke down and he is trying to fix it and it kept on going on with excuses after excuses. On the 25 Sep he made the final arrangements that he will be on site on the 30 Sep to start the cladding and it will take him 3days to finish up the work. 30 Sep arrived, its passed 8h30am no sign of Bongani, my husband and I are msg him to check up with him that he js nit on site as per the final arrangement but again Bongani goes all silent with no replybto any of our msgs and calls since the 30 Sep to date. We had to now end up getting someone else with additional money being paid to that contractor to have all the nails removed from the walls, cleaned up and replastered all of this was double costs onto us due to Bongani incompetence and dishonesty. This Bongani has taken our hard earned money of R7500 and has no sense of humility in him that he is robbing so many ppl. Ppl like Bongani need to be taught a lesson and put out of business. We saw the 3x reviews on Kandua that customer's rated him good so we decided to use him from the referral that was given to us. But only to find out after we encountered this problem with him we had seen other reviews from customer's on various other social platforms that he has done the same to all of them what he has done to us, taking so many ppl deposits and he never returns to their site starting and completing their jobs. He is definitely not to be trusted and don't even consider supporting him.

Feedback  He installed tiles in and outside my house. He is very reliable, honest and his work is very impressive. I have never had a problem with his work. He is neat and tidy. His pieces are affordable, he is not greedy. He is young but professional and good at what he does. He never disappoints. I have already recommended him to some people I know and I have never heard complaints about his work.

Description  Carpentry.

Feedback  He has done a lot of work of me including tiling and different woodwork projects. He has done about seven tiling jobs for me and he is actually very good at what he does. He adheres to instruction and he does not need to be managed at all. His prices are affordable and he always cleans after his work. I am actually looking forward to working with him again soon and I can still recommend him to anyone who may need his services.

Feedback  He installed a ceiling and wooden tiles at my house. He did a wonderful job and I was impressed. He came on time and he was professional in his way of work. His price was good and he did clean after work. I would not mind recommending him to others.
