Description  Checked installation and concluded the LNB needed to be replaced. This did NOT happen as he was trying to overcharge me

Feedback  WARNING: DISHONEST. They tried to install a 2nd hand LND and not tell me. I stopped him on the ladder as I wanted to see. He wanted to charge me R950 for a second hand LNB. He then told me a new LNB (501i) was R1200. They retail for R449 (also DSTV recommended retail price) - I knew this as I had seen them in a retail store over the weekend. I showed the pricing and told him he was too expensive. He then told me their LNB was different and the others were terrible quality. They are exactly same thing. Finally it came out that they bought LNB’s when they were expensive and are passing this cost to the customer. He is dishonest to the point of comedy and will lie freely. I paid the call out fee, which in retrospect, I should not have as he arrived happy to rip me off.
