Description  Originally Tina was hired to replace a ceiling. Tina was a godsend, he not only did my ceiling, he did tiling and fitted a kitchen along with some painting and he even hung mirrors

Description  He put in an outside door with a lock and sanded the top of another door to make it close nicely and changed its lock. We provided door and locks and hinges.

Carpenter

Cost  Around R5000

Description  I got him to make a round dinning table and a cupboard.

Feedback  His workmanship was good. They way he cut and put it together. There was a slight bit of misunderstand regarding what legs I wanted for the cupboard, he kind of just did his own thing even after I asked for it to be changed so I will have to replace that now on my own. With the table initially he also never did the legs as in the picture but I send him another pic and he was able to then fix them and do it perfectly as the picture. I am 50% happy with the outcome though as the varnish was very far from the colour I wanted it to be so I will have to redo that too and when the items were delivered the varnish was still wet. The varnish is also so green-ish so it’s looking terrible. Punctuality is also bad, he gutsy told me 2 weeks then in 2 weeks he promised he will deliver the Tuesday which would be 3 weeks from I hired him and then the Tuesday he didn’t pitch and said Friday. He doesn’t always reply to the messages when you message him etc. The price wasn’t bad at all but I am a bit disappointed because I will have to now spend a bit more on these items to what I wanted it to be like.
