Feedback  Sam ended up being an extremely bad hire. I contacted him because my fridge stopped working. He arrived with a colleague and assured me that the fridge needed a re-gas and a new filter. He completed the job and I paid him before he left. Later that same day I noticed that the fridge wasn’t working. I called Sam and despite me knowing that the fridge wasn’t working, he assured me that it would be fine in a few hours. Later that afternoon, the fridge was still not working and had an internal running temperature of over 20 degrees. I tried multiple times to get hold of Sam but both numbers I had for him just rang. My WhatsApp messages to him had blue ticks but he never responded. I eventually tried calling him from my wife’s phone late that night, and he answered. He told me that he left his phones at home and would be by me at 10am the following day to repair the fridge. The following day I messaged him to confirm the appointment, he didn’t answer. I called him at 10:30 and he told me that he was in Pretoria and would see me later in the day. This after I sat around waiting for him. That afternoon I got a message from him saying that he would be unable to fix my fridge and would provide me with an immediate refund. The refund never came. He has been giving me the run around and not replying to messages or calls about the money he took from me for a job not done. He told me last night that the money was on it's way via eWallet. It never arrived. I have no choice but to get in touch with Kandua and get his account suspended so that this doesn’t happen to someone else. Times are tough. Taking money from people for a job not done is not okay. It’s theft.
