Sphamandla initially appeared competent and professional, although very expensive, but he promised a reliable fix to my problem so I agreed to his quote. Unfortunately, lights went out again 1h after his team finished, as the solar inverter and battery were not correctly connected to the db board. Sphamandla initially blamed the solar inverter, but after I consulted another electrician and it turned out there was nothing wrong with it, Sphamandla promised a free fix on the next day. The next day, the main breaker to start tripping again soon after they left. At this point I no longer trusted Mvalo and booked another electrician who fixed the problem at a fraction of the price. I'm not sufficiently competent in electrical matters to determine if I have been scammed, but judging simply by outcomes Mvalo are, at the very least, under-qualified and overpriced.
