He is dependable and l dont have to be here to audit or monitor his progress. His work is exceptional, and l got him through an electrician guy who did some work for me before.

I asked Adonis to make cupboards for a kitchen in an apartment that I am renting and he was shown the recently done cupboards which I have in the place I am living in. I told him that I wanted the new cupboards to look like those I showed him which he said he could do that for me, no problem. When he was done, they did not have the same backing as those that he was shown. When I asked him about this, I was told that there are “two styles of building cupboards” and that he does not do the style that I showed him (Would have been nice to know this in the first place before he was given the business so that I could have rather used someone else). When the work was done, four of the cupboard doors had deep gouges in them (as well as several long scratches). Two of the damaged doors were seen immediately upon inspection and the other two were only noticed after the initial inspection as they were on the inside of the doors and one door had already been patched up by the contractor using wood filler. Another cupboard panel had a damaged corner that was either damaged upon installation or during transportation to my place. Andonis spent over an hour blaming me for the gouges and didn’t want to replace the panels. In the end some were replaced and I am still sitting with two damaged panels. Two square holes in the one panel was also cut for the pipes of my tenants washing machine (very unprofessional as the contractor did not have a circular drill bit to cut a neat round hole). The holes were not cut in the correct place resulting in the pinching of the washing mashine’s pipes. I had to make the square holes bigger myself to free the two washing machine pipes and also used a circular drill bit to try and make the square hole look more professional. I asked him in the initial quote to include ball bearing runners for four drawers in my kitchen. I received the quote with the description included for the ball bearing runners, only to have him tell me after the work was done that he did not include the pricing for them so he did not install them for me. He also told me that he forgot to quote for some of the hinges (about 14 of them) so I had to go to Gelmar and purchase hinges out of my own pocket. Lastly, he didn’t remove the old kitchen panels/cupboards which meant that I had to arrange for someone else to remove them at my cost. Overall very unhappy and will not be using his services ever again. I was left feeling that he took me for a proper ride on this job. I had to use wood filler elsewhere where the contractor had cut too deep into the shelving in the kitchen cupboards with a saw. Really disappointed!

I had a good experience with Thandazani the time he made a TV unit for me, he gave me a quotation and gave me the option to choose the material from his suppliers which most service providers would not do. He also assisted in repairing the existing cupboards and some doors and he did an excellent job. This guy can be trusted because I saw his job Online and he kept his word. I was impressed with the outcome and l will not hesitate to recommend his good service at any time.

He sourced and used good quality material, and the unit, as well as the wardrobe, was durable. Regardless of the quality material that others would claim is the reason for the excessive pricing he was very affordable. He is reliable, trustworthy and understanding, I have not had any reason to call him back for anything all his work was very good.

I moved to a new house and I hired him to do carpentry work there. He did the whole kitchen area, granite counters and kitchen cupboards. He also worked in the bedrooms installing fitted wardrobes.
