Even though I mentioned that I had the blocked drain, he performed his due diligence and checked all other aspects as well just to isolate the issue. He even offered his advise to add/remove the current plumbing components to alleviate the problem from happening again, which I did and I haven't had any issues at all. Thabo and his tiler (named Given) undertook to finish tiling in the bathroom, open plan living area, kitchen floor and replaced loose tiles in the patio floor area of my home in Carlswald North Lifestyle Estate in Midrand. When the tiling was approx 95% complete, i discovered that 17 tiles on the bathroom wall and 3 tiles on the bathroom floor did not have enough tile cement as it had an echo sound when tapping on them with my knuckles. I pointed this out to them and they refused to fix the problem and abandoned the job at 95% in progress. What was concerning is that Thabo represented himself as a Renovator with artisans working for him but the tiler on the job was making decisions and made the decision to abandon the job at 95% when I pointed out the poorly layed 20 tiles with insufficient glue. Thabo admitted that they were rushing to finish the job therefore the tiles were not layed with sufficient glue.

His work is very good, my only problem with him is his punctuality because when he is late, he does not have the decency to at least let me know that he's running late so I actually have to follow up up with him to find out where he is.
