He has worked on different properties for us and has done maintenance, cupboards, etc. the highlight is he is multi-skilled and your go-to guy for carpentry, electrical, plumbing work etc.

Description  Shane and his crew, including Koos Payne and Zach de Beer started to renovate my kitchen. It was an absolutely abysmal job. They built walls that had to be knocked down twice and rebuilt because they were out of line and weak; the floors cracked, he lied repeatedly about the wood he supposedly bought for the solid wood kitchen counters, they never completed the plumbing or the electrical work. When we called him and his team in for a meeting they agreed to fix everything and start remedy the work the following day, but then did not turn up for work and then actually absconded from the site, leaving us to practically start again with a kitchen that was basically a totally destroyed construction site. It looked like a bomb had hit it.

Feedback  Shane was deceitful, dishonest and never even appeared on site, leaving his staff and foreman to do the work. They were unsupervised for 95% of the job. It became clear that they were pulling strangers off the street to complete work. After we paid them a hefty deposit, Shane asked for the balance of the funds when they had only been on site a week and all they had done was remove plaster off walls and remove cabinetry and appliances. I was told he had already purchased the wood for the renovation and needed more funds to complete the planning and woodwork for the job. At no point did he ever purchase the wood. He even lied about it being on his work bench at his house and various other excuses. There is even a whatsapp message where he admits to his staff in a group chat that the job they did for us was terrible and that in a court case they would lose. Shane needs to learn how to conduct an honest business and to act with integrity towards clients. Very disappointing service which required legal intervention.

Feedback  I am happy with Shane always. He helped me with paving my driveway and also redid my kitchen which looks amazing to this day. He is always on time and his team is very efficient and friendly. I definitely recommend him.
