A small section of our parquet flooring started lifting and needs to be replaced. It is in a spot where it seems the previous owners already did repairs before.

I want to tile my living room of 32 square meters after removing parquet tiles which was 2.5cm high...Option 1 simple concrete laid to a 32 square meter area, this concrete will be used to lift the floor by 2.5cm so that my entire floor area is level and can then be tiled... OPTION 2... break down the 2.5mm concrete height that already exists to level the current 32 square meter area.... so i in essence we either lift or bring down-- i dont need a fancy done concrete floor just strong foundation laid and made level for me to then tile over... or we break the existing concrete area down to be level with the larger area

1 bedroom has a carpet and two have wooden tiles - the latter was placed a year or two ago.
