Description  He Renovated the pool.

Feedback  1. We contracted with George from the Kandua Vetted contractor platform to renovate our swimming pool at a cost of R67,150 after being quoted around R60,000 for the total project, due to unforeseen items which the contractor neglected to incolude in his original quote. 2. Throughout the process there were a great deal of schoolboy mistakes including very poor workmanship and poor weather planning which caused the project to over run from four weeks to 12 weeks! 3. George was quite reliable and on time everyday - George is good at always asking for more money. 4. Thankfully I withheld a lot of money until I was eventually satisfied after huge frustration, partially satisfied with the progress on the project but: 3.1 The reason I renovated the pool was due to the pool leaking water - which it still does, after brand new concrete, plumbing and marbelite. 3.2 The pool was leaking water from day 1 and George was meant to install a water proofing treatment since December 2020 but could only do so a week ago. 3.3 I paid R1,000 for the material as George did not have any money and thus it appears he expects me to finance the 10 year guarantee on my pool. 3.4 The pool exterior levels are not all correct and higher in some areas than others. 3.5 The marbelite is already stained and has rough parts and hand prints on the steps which still need to be corrected. 3.6 The tiling is not perfect as expected with them having performed an “average” to low quality installation of tiles worth R300 a sqm. 4. Finally - I would rate George for: - swimming pools 4/10 - plumbing 7/10 - tiling 5/10 - reliability and willingness to resolve issues 8/10 (albeit at my own expense!) - paving 7/10 I would strongly recommend that you appoint a professional and reputable pool contractor before forking over your hard earned cash to this company, rather use them for general building works but please ensure you work very carefully with George.

Feedback  George did a horrible job of renovating my pool and despite him giving me a 10 year warranty I have been begging this man FOR FOUR MONTHS to honour his obligation to me and HE HAS NOT DONE SO. Do not use this contracor, rather pay a real professional more!

Feedback  Joji helped me with the installations of a fish pond and installations of skylights at my house. He is timeous, professional, and pays attention to instructions to deliver. The prices he charges are reasonable, his work is neat, and I trusted him to work in my house. I can recommend him to others.

Waterproofer

Description  Fixing bathroom leaks, damp proof & paint wall and tile bathroom.

Feedback  Poor project management. Quote stated a total of 4 days would be required, ended up taking over 2 weeks. Additional costs kept coming up. Had to ask for work to be made to look neater. All-in-all a draining experience. I would not recommend.

Description  He did a complete pool renovation and also did the renovation on our whole back yard.

Feedback  The whole renovation came out perfect I was completely satisfied. George and his team are true professionals, they are reliable and dedicated.

Description  I am into construction, I usually subcontract him to do jobs like pool renovations, plastering, and bricklaying.

Feedback  I have worked with George on several projects in and around Johannesburg and all the jobs I can admit I have never had complaints from clients. He does his work to the best of his ability and always delivers results promptly. I am a very thorough person, I always follow up on my projects during execution and I can safely admit that George is one person who has not given me a reason to doubt his expertise. Last but not least one thing I admire about him is that even though he compromises on his service rates at times the compromise never affects the quality of his work. I recommend George he is a true pro.

I do however see that he still has a lot of room to improve on his organisation, nonetheless despite that, he is a person who takes instructions well and always deliver results as anticipated.
