Description  Replacement of a Samsung hob motherboard and plate with new units.

Feedback  Replacement of a Samsung hob motherboard and plate with new units. Pure criminal-minded of a person. He quoted on the replacement of the motherboard with a new motherboard that had a 2-year warranty and 1 year on the plate. Before he started with the job, he sent me pictures of the unit as I'm working in another location, on completion of the job I asked to leave the old motherboard behind with the tenant. The tenant sent me the picture of the old motherboard and it was different meaning they repaired the old motherboard and charged me for a new motherboard. Three days down the line the motherboard not working. Trying to call but, he does not answer.

Description  Kelvin tried to repair my HiSense fridge - twice. It’s cost R6880 and I still don’t have a working fridge.

Feedback  Kelvin tried to repair my HiSense fridge - twice. The first time he did “flashing and re-gassing, filter replacement, replace defrosting sensors, replace temperature control sensors, and replace defrosting element” - cost R4480 - it worked for a couple of weeks then the fridge stopped working again. He came back and said the motherboard at the back needed to be replaced - cost was about R2400. The fridge didn’t work. He promised to come back but he never pitched. We eventually switched the fridge on and it worked fine for a few weeks and then stopped again. Now when contacting Kelvin he says he will collect the fridge. He didn’t pitch on the first day, nor the second day that he said he would. Now I’ve spent all the money and I don’t have a working fridge. What a con.

Description  Absolute joke. I have an old dishwasher that started to trip the power every now and again. I asked for an investigation of the issue. DONALD (Who I think works with Kelvin) was here and said they have to replace those motor. He took motor out to go off and find replacement. Then sent me a quote of over R5k with a service and warranty. I said its too much and would rather get a new one. Then he came back with new quote of R4300. The next morning I said it still too much I'll rather replace. Suddenly he (Donald) dropped the price to R2k. Which I then accepted thinking it would save me time and money compared to looking for a new one. They came to fix it that afternoon... And I paid them the R2k. But it hasn't worked since their fix. It starts but makes a hell of a noise... Then starts smelling g like burnt wires. Now suddenly I can't get hold of Kelvin or Donald. What a waste!!

Description  Hi am very unhappy. Kelvin previously came to me and provided a quote and said the shocks on the washing machine is gone and needs to be replaced. I called defy and they theres no such thing as shocks on a machine. I requested for someone to come out again and kelvin came out again of which i didnt know it it was the same as before. I only found that out when he came. When he came i saw that it was him. I told him that i was not happy with him from the last and will get somrone else to come out. Kelvin did not check what was wrong with the machine. He just looked at the machine and said the drain pipe needs to be replaced. I refused to pay the callout fee as he did not check anything and wanted a callout fee. They refused to leave my premised, they broke the washing machine water pipe, and water started spilling evertwhere in the kitchen. I had to call the police to have them removed. They used foul language saying this washing machine is F@*k#d up.

Description  He painted the entire outside of my house as well as fill cracks.

Feedback  He was always punctual, easy to communicate with. He is self managing and I could leave him to complete his work while I go to the office. I will definitely dial him again if I require a painter.

Feedback  I liked the service I got from this guy. He was punctual to do the job and I was happy with the quality of the job. He was affordable for me and where I could not afford we negotiated. Basically he was good.

Description  He painted a some walls for me as well as filled some cracks in the walls.

Feedback  His an excellent guy. I will call him back to do some work in my house again. He gave me some good advice as well as helped me save money where I could. His an extremely professional guy.

Feedback  He is quite skilful and he does professional work bringing out desired results always . I never have complains whenever he does work for me. I am actually more than happy to recommend him.
