Feedback  A few things had stopped working on my pool and I had to hire in Marvin to help with all those small things. He changed things like the filter, cleaned the pool and surroundings then pouring of chemicals. He has a very great character and attitude but furthermore, he communicates well.

Description  Marvin fix the filter pumper because it was broken he even poured some chemicals in the pool...Marvin is expensive

Feedback  Marvin is good but to expensive he charges us more but when we go to the shop and check those things they are lesser than what he charges us

Description  I had a pool which was losing a lot of water and was dirty as well. Marvin properly diagnosed the pools problem, was able to close all cracks, repainted my pool and left it very clean and good as new

Feedback  He definately knows his work. Communicates well too. Very informative. didn't need any supervision.

Description  Struggling to finish my pool maintenance

Feedback  It had been long since my swimming pool was functioning and I then hired Marvin to oversee all the renovations. To-date, I have paid him way over R9000 through his generated invoices but he has not yet finished the job and for the past four days, he is blue ticking me. He has been coming with excuses on why he is not coming to finish even if I have been paying him. I am really not happy and wish that he may finish the job such that I can give a complete review based on the completed work.

Description  Marvin was supposed to clean and vacuum my pool

Feedback  Marvin should not be on this site as a pool maintenance person. He does not know what he is doing and after he claimed to have cleaned and vacuumed my pool, the next morning it was the same. I tried on numerous occasions to get him to return and finish the job I paid him in full but two weeks later I am still waiting. He is ignoring my calls and I do not understand how Kandua can have someone like him on their site. It goes to show that Kandua is either not vetting the vendors or Marvin is a t best a con man. I would not use him and I will be complaining to Kandua How can i pay for a service and not get what I paid for. Marvin should not be on this platform and Kandua should address this issue.

Description  Applied chemicals to the pool - did not finish this job, replaced filter sand unnecessarily and broke a valve which he then repaired.

Feedback  Do not recommend. Broke more than fixed and was never on time if he came at all. No working capital - very much a fly by night operation.

Description  He assessed and advised that the the weir and suction piping needed to be replaced due to a leak. Pool cleaner still not working (which was the initial compliant) and pool still non functional

Feedback  Very poor service. A 1 day job turned out to be over 1 week and still not complete. Multiple excuses ie. personal tragedy, being arrested, involved in a car accident. Team presenting to complete work without guidance, tools etc.

Description  I am very irate in that I was happy with Marvin’s analysis of the problem. I spent over R4000 to get the pool repaired and maintained. The long and short of it is that the pool is in a worse off state than he found it. And the worst that happened is that he phoned to tell me he had been arrested, meaning I have lost my money in vain, and now I need to spend even more to fix these problems. How do you handle such a situation as you sent him out to my call.

Feedback  Mervin installed some kitchen units and cupboards in my pantry. He communicated well, very professional, and he got the job done. I was impressed that he finished before the timelines we agreed. I could trust him to the extent of leaving him at my house. He used quality material, his quote was reasonable, and I can recommend him.

Feedback  Mervin was painting the wall and repairing some cupboards in my bathroom. The marks that were on the wall are gone that were caused by the leaking water, there wasn't any cleaning to do because he left the site clean. He is a neat worker, I can use his services again, and his quotes are reasonable. I can recommend him.
