Cost  BBMC defines value for money and wasting is not an option.

Description  Firstly an en-suite type access was created from the bedroom into the bathroom, fitted with a door frame and locking door. Secondly the bath was removed and replaced by a walk-in shower with new shower mixer and glass sliding doors. The wash hand basin was repositioned and replaced with a modern one. The bathroom window was replaced with a smaller aluminum window frame to accommodate the new walk-in shower and the whole bathroom was retiled. Lastly the spare room was converted into a kitchen with sliding windows, double sink including mixer, wall to wall built-in cupboards with modern counter tops and a nook into the new open plan dining room area. All new modern electrical fittings including a USB port charger was installed into the kitchen.

Feedback  Christopher designed the kitchen layout and explained in detail what was been done during the process. I completely trusted him with the colour scheme of the bathroom and kitchen and believe me when I say "I am still impressed how he knew exactly what I like and wanted". In summary, his knowledge and experience is extensive and yet practical. I have absolutely no regrets and definitely recommend BBMC above any other contractor. Thank you BBMC.

Description  Room extension and built on braai

Feedback  A love hate relationship, Chris does go the extra mile and goes above and beyond and did come fix most of the issues That remained , but unfortunately just like most of the stories you hear some of the issues were not solved and Chris will have 30years of experienced excuses and eventually go radio silent and disappear. Problems never solved were a leaking roof that he built on the extended room.. he came probably six times to "fix it" yet every time it rained there were still leaks and today it still has a leak which we will get other more experienced people to come fix now. Chris built a outdoor braai which connected to the awning, Chris came about 6 times and water proofed it yet it still leaked only to eventually realise that the awning sheets had a gap from when they stood on it and built the braai chimney.... after fixing that there was still a continuous leak spot and eventually me with no building experience managed to fix that. The braai was also poorly built as the cement between the bricks was not mixed correctly and we have the biggest efflorescence problem now that is probably gonna force us to demolish and rebuild the braai. Will I recommend or use Chris services again? Unfortunately not. But will give him credit for atleast coming back a few times to try fix the problems.

Description  Painting, fix skirtings.

Feedback  The painting was done really well and very neat. The skirtings however which was part of the quote was done really badly and had to be prompted to finish. Small things I requested was never completed, completed incorrectly or done in a hurry with no attention to detail even after I stated that I am willing to pay extra a long as it is done right.

Description  Tiling Painting Kitchen Cupboards

Feedback  They re-tiled the lounge, painted the outside of the house and he did the kitchen cupboards. I really trust his work. I gave him the liberty to choose the color of the paint , the type of tiles , the design of everything including the kitchen cupboard. And he did a very great job, I love the color, the kitchen everything. I do recommend their services. They also did a job for my brother and he is singing praises as well.

Description  General building Renovations including Tiling, Plastering, extensions, Painting etc

Feedback  They have been doing the General Building and Maintenance for our Guest House for us for the past 10 years. We have a great work relationship with them. They are reliable, hardworking and trustworthy. Their work is clean and neat. I do recommend their services.

Description  Shop Maintenance.

Feedback  They did some Renovations and Maintenance work at the Shopping Center. They did a great job. They managed to finish the job at the set time. They are hardworking. When they were done with the renovations and maintenance, they cleaned up the place unlike other service providers. We are happy with their services.
