He lied to me in terms of his installation and did a very poor job that needed to be revised. It was a bad and unprofessional job that has been charged way to expensive and he still claims that he wants more money, an after payment for this unsuccessful crappy job. My whole electrical pool system was now properly repaired within 2 hours, he couldn't do it in 2 days. Paid 6000 Rand already but he is trying to get more. No chance, this man doesn't know what he is doing and messed up more than he repaired. What a loss. First time kandua = last time kandua. Quality management test failed.

Description  They came out to check on my diesel generator, which would not start. After they've examined it, they concluded that the engine had suffered damage, and had to be overhauled. He then gave me the contact details of one of their prior customers to contact as a reference, which I did. The person confirmed that he had the same generator as mine, with the same problem, and after they fixed it, is now runs perfectly. After they gave a quote for the repairs, they stripped the engine and took is to their workshop to repair it. 2 days later, they were back, and after having to drive back to JHB from PTA to buy a new starter, the gennie was running a few hours later. Outstanding guy, delivering outstanding service.

At some point, he ignored my calls for days when I asked why it was taking so long to fix the problem, after he had been to our place three times in the space of a week. I had to report Joseph to Kandua for him to start taking my calls and resolve the issue and even then, he had to subcontract the works to someone else as he was unable to resolve the issue himself.

The people on Kandua are not vetted or background checked.
