Gezani James Maluleke

Description  James does primarily painting. He also does other small tasks around the house which include building, roofing, extensions and sewage systems.

Feedback  He works very efficiently, he is always neat and tidy. I have known him since we moved in our house which was 15 years ago. His wife and daughter even worked for us at some point. We have never had a problem with him. He says how many days a job would take, and the only downside to him is that he needs supervision at times. The other day when he was in the house with the tiler some guys tried to rob the house(the electrician was a bit dodgy) thinking that there's no one, but James managed to chase them away, I can safely say that I trust him with almost my whole life.

Cost  R560 per day

Description  I usually call James for brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, painting, piping and tiling work.

Feedback  He is very dedicated to his work. He produces great quality work. I trust him with my house to an extent where he even has the gate code to the property. I pay him a daily fee, but when its a once off job I just buy him the material then he gives me a quote at the end. Trust me you will be more than happy with the job he does for you.

Cost  R3000-R5000 fixed drainage

Description  He did a lot of these small fix up jobs around the house that range from painting to plastering. He also worked on rooms outside the main house.

Feedback  James did a lot of work with us, we have been using his services since the time we bought the house which dates back to 15 years ago. He is the master of his job, he does work quietly without any problems. We are able to leave him alone to do the work comfortably. That's how much we trust him. He cleans up excellently when he is done. The quality of his work is great, as a result, we could probably hire someone far cheaper than him but we can't compromise.

Description  James did waterproofing, plastering and painting. He also fixed our broken ceiling.

Feedback  He's currently working on a big job for us now. He's very punctual, honest and reliable. I think those are the key elements. These elements are what made me give him a rating of 4

Cost  Roughly R500 a day

Description  James did basic painting and plastering, and a bit of maintenance. He also did a bit of varnishing

Feedback  We usually use James for 1 days work or occasional work. Over the times we have used him he's been very professional, he did the work that was required of him, which was pretty much basic stuff. I found his pricing very good compared to the other people I have used.

Cost  400 per day

Description  He did all the painting and plastering of the house.

Feedback  He worked on our house for just over 2 weeks because he worked, left for a while then had to come back and finish up. Our house had a chip that he removed, now we can't even tell that the chip was there. Our house also had a horrible dark yellow colour that he took care of. We we very happy with the work he did, we could even leave him in the house to do all the work. He was recommended by a friend of ours. Overall he did and excellent job.
