Description  I have dealt with one of the Pros on the site. His name is Leo Kazembe. The first encounter Leo and I had was about fixing some plumbing issues around the house. Which he fixed professionally, gave me a quote of the material needed beforehand and did the job within the right price range for the job at hand. Now Leo had suggested, after I mentioned I needed some waterproofing work done on my roof, that he along with his brother Alfred can do the waterproofing for me. The price for the entire job that Leo had put forth was for R6500 part of that cost was the material which he stated would be R2000, leaving labor to R4500. We agreed that I will pay half of the money then end of the month give them the rest. So I sent Leo R3200, part of it was the R2000 for the material After they went and purchased the material I noticed that something just did not add up. Firstly the material that they purchased did not add up to R2000 just by looking at it, they work for a day and then tell me after that they need an additional R1000 as the material they purchased was not enough. I tell them no as they were the ones who indicated that the material is R2000. They then leave and I decided to get onto the roof myself to check what exactly they have been doing. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!!! They simply took membrane and some waterproofing liquid and painted it around not even half the roof. That in itself was a rip off, to top it off they then require more material and when I ask for advice from some neighbors who then also went onto the roof to check, they said that job shouldn't have even costed R1500 for the whole job. When I ask Leo to produce the receipts he hands me some crumpled up receipts that only add up to R1600, meaning there is a R400 unaccounted for. When I ask him where the rest of the money is he tells me stories which do not add up and that he cannot actually pin point exactly what he did with the money. When I tell him to leave the roof and pay me back my R1400 he blocks me and outright tells me he will not pay me a cent. PLEASE I want to alert others that may require his services on the site as this guy is a crook and a scam, he will pretend like he wants to help and is charging fair prices when he is not. I am now seeking legal representation to take this matter further as he has blocked me and is refusing to pay me my money.
