Renovator

Description  Removing tiles, and retiling. Painting, putty windows and minor renovations.

Feedback  Tiling was eventually completed neatly,, unfortunately they were to lazy in some places to remove the old tiles and tiled overthem resulting in uneven stairs. Painting was badly done and they dont use drop sheets. Eventually I had to clean the paint off the tiles myself. They dont have their own tools and used mine without permission. Broke my wheelbarrow and although they promised to repair it I had to eventually buy the parts myself. Removed a new stair light and then 'lost' it. Had to have them remove paint from windows after painting the frames,, but after several attempts I gave up on them doing a proper job and will need to get a new contractor to do so. In one instance the didnt even replace the window putty but painted the old remaining pieces only. Installed a door frame, and door. I could push my hand through the gap between the door frame and wall. Despite asking for it to be corrected I had to do itmyself in the end. Also had to install the door handle and lock myself. Eventually ended up having to clean my yard myself including washing paint from walls where they had clean their brushes. They even left a heap of rumble behind despite my paying them R1000 over and above to remove it. They will constantly ask for additional funds and have excuses for not doing their work. Some of the jobs they had to do remain undone and they owe me money for breakages.

Description  Fix a stove that used to trip the main switch when its too hot.

Feedback  They managed to fix the stove on the second attempt. I also experienced difficulties when they had to pay me my refund but they paid back the money eventually.

Description  Attended to a Samsung airconditioner unit which was blowing hot air instead of cold air

Feedback  Started with an assessment. Realised that gas in aircon unit was needed. The capacitor needed to be replaced too. Tested aircon unit and cleaned up site.

Feedback  Untrustworthy. They still owe me money for the damages to my property. After review they plumbing work was note to code and had to be redone to be a certificate.

Description  They fixed some electrical appliances at our office.

Feedback  I rate them high because the service was excellent. They were very reliable and they came on time. They had all the necessary tools. They did their work efficiently and quickly too. We never had any problems with them because the work was done perfectly and the appliances are still working fine. The prices were a bit higher than the market rate but the service was satisfactory. They are good service providers and i can recommend them to anyone.
