Feedback  Simpie’s workmanship is impeccable. I love my furniture it is honestly as good as new. The quality of the fabric is great and honestly looks amazing! I am happy. His quotation was extremely reasonable and the work very good. He truly has a talent for his craft and he knows what he is doing. I cannot tell you how happy I am with my furniture and the work done! Simpie can improve on his communication and giving updates and keeping the client informed of changes to schedule, travel time approximations etc. He would do well with alternative number and someone doing the admin for him. He is very respectful, trustworthy and kind however can improve on the admin side of things. I have already referred someone else to him and will most definitely make use of his services again.

Description  Reupholstered my couch

Feedback  He doesn’t communicate and never sticks to timelines agreed upon. He promises and never delivers. As a customer you have to hound him for information. He never provides feedback on the progress or challenges he’s experiencing. I was not impressed with the customer service, I was annoyed and almost opened a case of theft as I thought he disappeared with my couch. I’m satisfied with the work he did on my couch but will never use his services again.

Description  On the 4th of May 2021 Simpie was given a dining table and chairs to do the work and the arrangement was to deliver the furniture back on the 4th of June and to date Simpie does not answer his phone, and does not communicate at all. He is not a man of his words and he promises delivery and nothing forthcoming. We even asked him if he could just bring our furniture back even if he had not started with the upholstery, he does not budge. We now have decided to open a case of theft on him. He is very unreliable and dishonest. All we are asking is to bring the furniture back and we can close this chapter.

Feedback  I am going to give Simpie a bad rating unfortunately. We are very angry and hurt at this moment. We just want our furniture back without a fight. Anyone needing upholstery/Carpentry done, please do not use this guy, as he is not reliable.

Then again he made promises that would come around the next morning but guess what, he didn’t. That’s how you lose business. So I guess you’re not interested 🤔in the job.

Feedback  Simpie and his team did a great job for an affordable price. My couches are not standard and I think it was a challenging job, so some of the seams weren't as neatly aligned as they could've been. But for my purposes and for the price, I'm very happy. It was also a pleasure working with someone so friendly and I'm impressed at how quickly him and his team were able to complete the job. I will be using his services in the future and will recommend him to others.
