He has been to our house on several occasions, but the problem still remains, and then it is one story after the other. The whole point of installing solar was to counter loadshedding. Unfortunately, with Emmanuel's installation, it makes no difference and we are still in the dark. After several months of reporting the problem and not having it resolved, we have given him 1 week to remedy this or we go the legal route, which will be unfortunate, but there's no way you can be expected to pay this kind of money to sit in loadshedding with a torch.

Feedback  When I contacted Kandua for the installation of an Inverter I was really not sure if it was an ideal solution for dealing with the challenge of loadshedding. So even though I had called them to install an Inverter, I still asked them to give me a convincing answer if it was a better solution that the silent generators that I now available on the market. When they informed me about the continous cost of diesel and costs related to the maintenance of the generator vis a vis the advantage of the Inverter in reducing your Municipal account I was won over to their solution. I was however still concerned about the cost of batteries for the Inverter and was informed that these could last for eight to ten years before they require replacement provided they are used properly. I got a bit worried when they required more than 50% of the overall quote for a deposit. They explained that the material required was costly. I somehow trusted them since I have never experienced a problem with the Pros I sourced through Kandua. Once I paid the deposit they promptly acknowledged receipt and we agreed on a date they were to commence work. They however could not start on the day since it was the date of the national lockdown and most businesses where they were sourcing their products were closed. We then agreed on an alternative date which they were able to honour. Once they started with the work I could see that they were professionals who knew their work. Their work is neat and of a high standard. After installation of the system we unfortunately overloaded the system and it tripped. They were quick to respond and fixed it. They then inducted us on the system and since then we have not experienced any problem. They even provided us with the certificate of electrical compliance. Overall I can say Immanuel is a consummate professional who takes his job seriously.

He was never there during the day to check on what was being done. As a result I or my client would find some of the guys sitting around and doing nothing, when you give them instructions they say they only take instructions from Emmanuel. This was disrespectful. The plastering team did not put care in what was in the space when they were working as a result, blocked some pipes with cement. They chipped the tiles they had installed and left them. I had to clean up after them everyday, when they were on-site. They did not take into cognizance that the client lives on site and the place had to always be left in a presentable manner. I can go on and on.
