Frequently asked questions 👇
A quote is a cost estimate from your service provider. It outlines the work they’ll do, the materials required, and the total price you’ll need to pay if you accept.
Simply click the “View Quote” button on this page. A secure window will open where you can review all the details of your quote.
You’ll be able to see:
- The service provider’s name and contact details
- A description of the job
- Itemised costs for labour and materials
- The total quoted cost for your project
- Any notes, conditions, or guarantees
Your service provider will be notified immediately. They’ll be able to move forward with the job according to the agreed details.
If you reject the quote, you can provide a reason. This allows your service provider to adjust the quote or suggest an alternative.
Once you accept a quote, the agreement is confirmed. If you’d like changes, you’ll need to request an updated quote from your service provider.
No. Payment terms depend on the service provider. Some may request a deposit, while others will invoice after the job is complete. These details will be clearly noted in your quote.
- Check the expiry date – most quotes are only valid for a limited time. Accept early to lock in the price.
- Look for inclusions & exclusions – make sure materials, labour, and call-out fees are clearly listed.
- Confirm payment terms – check if a deposit is required or if full payment is due after the job.
- Ask about guarantees – many pros offer workmanship warranties. Look for this in the notes section.
- Don’t hesitate to reject politely – if something doesn’t work for you, rejecting with feedback helps your pro adjust.
