The fascia boards have been replaced before, but the wood was not replaced, and it was already rotten then. Ishmael painstakingly replaced all the rotten wood, treated it, and then put thick fascia boards on that were a much thicker quality than the ones before. He also painted them with several coats and matched the colour exactly.
